The Groggy Dawg is the place to be in Granbury, Texas. The facility includes a Ship Store, Boat Slips, Boat Rental, and is home to the Groggy Dawg Grill featuring great food and Live Entertainment and Special Events.

How the Groggy Dawg got it's name?  Grog - The nickname of a British admiral was applied to a mixture of water and rum.  The rum was a cheap antiseptic and flavor mask for the spoiled water that sailors often encountered while at sea.

The Groggy Dawg would like to welcome you to a pirates dream of dining, drinks, and fun.  This unique floating restaurant offers the finest cuisine and specialties from the area.  So kick back and relax in our open air atmosphere.  Enjoy the view and service in food and entertainment.  We have sailed the seas to find the wonderful recipes that have inspired our menu selection.

With the Groggy Dawg's location and ideal facilities, it can accomodate just about any occasion.  From birthdays, business meetings, receptions, Christmas, to office parties, let our pirates help you make it a memorable one.
